This question of non-state armed groups threatening a nation-state's sovereinty, whether purely domestic or sponsored by another state, is something the UN General Assemby and Security Council must address. Nations need the right to appeal to the UN to invite a Section 7 force to help them dislodge such entities, from cartels to terrorist groups. This is a global problem. Such groups are a threat to peace and security and to national sovereignty.
I don’t think this is terribly complicated. Israel needs to withdraw all its troops, stop attacking Lebanon, and stop its genocidal ethnic cleansing campaign against the Palestinians.
Hezbollah would be insane to contemplate giving up its weapons until those basic conditions are met. The only party here that should be forcibly disarmed is the apartheid regime that spent the past 2.5 years slaughtering tens of thousands of women and children while invading or attacking Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Iraq, and Iran.
Finally, the idea that you can negotiate with people who think massacring children and blowing up hospitals is self defense strikes me as somewhat delusional. Just as there was no appeasing the Nazis, there will be no appeasing Israel. There is only one way to deal with people like that. I’m glad the men of Hezbollah understand and are willing to stand up to these people. Imagine what they could do if their country supported them instead of putting collaborators and traitors in charge.

She was 12 years old. A drone fired three times. This was during a ceasefire. We don't know her name. That's the first crime. Not the last. New article https://austinsikora.substack.com/p/we-dont-know-her-name?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android&r=32cg97
