I think this is also caused by this “mosaic” defense structure they have built. The decentralized decision making will lead to attacks and retaliation with no clear strategic vision. Like launching attacks against Azerbaijan…

For the sake of everyone except the evil mullahs I hope the Islamic regime falls.

If they do not fall I hope all military power to harm others outside of Iran is destroyed. Basically leave them only with guns. No missiles, no drones, no navy , no air force, no currency, no water, no friends

There are many complex analyses and arguments to be made.

Let me sum it up.. Iran is a terrorist theocratic state and attacking neutral or friendly nations non USA bases is just more terrorism.

Inflicting violence for a political aim

Terrorists are gonna terror=Islamic Republic

The analysis above is superficial and tilted. Iran has been patient for decades—centuries—with the exception of the horrific war with Iraq, and that started with self defense. And so it is with March 1.

Wars today start in capital cities and target civilians, as regularly modeled by major powers. Civic infrastructure is the first to go: communications, transportation, symbols. Have you forgotten Operation Desert Storm? It could have easily been called the Second Coming of Hulagu Khan. And what about Israel’s unparalleled aggression on at least five neighboring countries in only two years? The March 1 hideous and uncalled-for aggression and assassination by Israel and the USA forces eyes away from Gaza and increased abuse of the indigenous people of Palestine. It shatters fragile attempts at reconciliation among Gulf State neighbors, because an alliance might threaten American and Israeli regional domination. There is no justice when cruelty is ok if doled out by some. There is no impartial reporting when the woes of the victims are deemed deserved, and their self defense is designated “terrorism.” Perhaps I was reading an opinion piece and mistakenly thought it was covering a breaking news story.

Iran has lost decision makers. They need to limit their targets and engage with Arabs ASAP to survive for few more months.
