I read the other day that Iraq’s oil revenue all goes through the NY fed reserve, effectively giving America control over this money. I’m still in shock over this revelation. If Iraq ever wants to reclaim its sovereignty, it needs to start by taking control over its own resources. Until that happens, whoever occupies the PM’s office soon remain weak and subservient to one foreign power or another.
